The Zoom LiveTrak L6max is a 12-channel portable mixer and recorder that
delivers big mixer functionality in a compact size with an integrated 32-bit
float recorder. The perfect tool for electronic music performers, bands, solo
artists, streaming, or podcasts, the L6max incorporates all your audio sources
with professional sound and flexible connectivity, empowering on the go
recording without limits. Record up to fourteen individual tracks across all
twelve inputs and an additional stereo mix, and go even further with unlimited
overdubbing thanks to a dedicated bounce track. No matter your music or audio
project, the L6max is ready to be the compact centerpiece of your creative
workflow.
The L6max features all the connectivity you need to enable full ensemble
productions. Four combo XLR / TRS inputs, two with Hi-Z modes for direct guitar
and bass recording, are perfect for connecting microphones and instruments,
while four stereo line input pairs offer plentiful connectivity for synths and
drum machines. On the line level inputs, -20dB pad switches let you easily
connect vintage synths and Eurorack signals. With the same streamlined interface
as the L6, each track of the L6max gives you a ton of flexibility to shape
signals with precision. Adjust level, panning, and a three-band EQ with
sweepable mids for each track, and control routing to two auxiliary sends,
onboard EFX, or the configurable Sub-Mix output. In addition to the master
output, a dedicated headphone monitoring output and the Sub-Mix allow for
flexible monitoring options. The EFX section features delays and reverbs to add
the finishing touches to your sounds, alongside powerful AI Noise Reduction that
cleans up background noise without affecting the tone of your voice,
instruments, and other audio to be captured. A master compressor is also
available, adding studio polish to your final mix without distortion.
Onboard 32-bit float recording leverages a dual converter system on channels 1-4
to capture quiet whispers and explosive transients alike without clipping,
letting you easily record drums and other loud sources without worrying about
riding levels during a take. Record directly on the device with a clear OLED
screen for making settings adjustments and saving project information, or
connect via USB to your computer or smartphone for a mobile recording studio
solution. Four storable scenes allow you to save and recall mixer settings on a
whim, perfect for complex sessions or live sets that need quick and
comprehensive changes, or setting up performance-oriented effect send processing
with a single button. The onboard sound pad sampler is perfect for launching
samples and sound effects on demand. MIDI input and output extend the L6max's
controls to the rest of your studio or stage set up, giving you powerful
capabilities to sync and remotely control the device. Customize all of this
