With simple, automatic operation the Stack-and-Shred 250X cross-cut shredder will shred 250 sheets for you, so you can be more productive with your time. Simply insert a stack of up to 250 letter size sheets into the top of the shredder and shut the lid. Its that easy. Just stack, shut and youre done.
It takes just over 20 minutes for the 250X to automatically shred 250 sheets. To shred 8 sheets or less, you can use the manual bypass slot. Both automatic and manual functions do not require you to remove staples or paper clips. Shredded paper falls into a spacious 11-gallon waste bin with a view window. Plastic and recyclable paper bags can be used to line the bin and help keep your work area neat. A separate manual feed slot and waste bin are included for shredding of DVDs, CDs and credit cards.
It gets better with Auto+ automatic jam clearance technology. As the 250X shredder works through a stack of papers, it will automatically reverse and re-feed any sheet that becomes jammed. This cross-cut shredder shreds papers in two different directions to provide moderate, Level 3 document security. The 250 sheet capacity of this Stack-and-Shred model makes it perfect for departments and other shared office spaces with 5-10 users. Additional features include self cleaning cutters, super quiet operation and an auto shut off power save function.
