SLIKs exclusive A.M.T. super Aluminum-Magnesium-Titanium alloy legs make the
PRO 340 BH tripod in black very steady. The A.M.T. alloy has a 40% greater
strength to weight ratio than standard aluminum. This makes the legs lighter and
stronger than the standard metal used in most tripods.
This compact tripod has 4 legs sections to collapse down to just over 20 inches,
making the PRO 340 BH great for traveling and backpacking.
The PRO 340 BH makes setting up easy with secure, speed-release leg locks.
Padded leg wraps make the tripod more comfortable to carry. 3-position,
multi-angle leg locks allow easy set-up on uneven ground or steps.
The PRO 340 BH has a gearless center column that unscrews into two pieces
converting the top piece into a short column. This feature combined with the
adjustable leg angle locks allows the tripod to be lowered to 10 inches for very
low angle or macro photography in the field.
The PRO 340 BH has stable all-metal SBH-200DQ ball head with easy-to-use quick
release. The all new SBH-200DQ ball head has two bubble levels built in for
leveling of the camera for panoramics or just making sure the camera is leveled
when setting up on uneven surfaces. An easy to use all metal quick release
system makes mounting the camera fast and simple.
The SBH-200DQ head can be removed and the tripod legs have a standard 1/4-20
mount thread, giving the tripod a wide variety of head options. The legs can
handle up to 8.8 lbs of properly balanced equipment.
