Rokinon expands its already impressive Full Frame Prime Lens lineup with the
Rokinon 100mm f2.8 ED UMC Macro Telephoto Lens for Nikon AE. Highly versatile,
the 100mm short telephoto focal length is great for portraiture and candids,
while the close focusing ability to 12 inches, without the need for any
additional accessories, provides ample working distance and a 1:1 (Life Size)
reproduction ratio. This high speed telephoto feature a circular 9-blade
diaphragm for superb out-of-focus highlights (Bokeh), a non-rotating filter
mount, high performance ED glass elements, UMC anti-reflective Ultra
Multi-Coating, close focusing to only 1 foot and is tightly color matched to the
Rokinon lens system.
1:1 Magnification
The size of the subject in the plane of focus is identical to the image
sensor size in the camera. This lens affords a 1:1 maximum magnification ratio
along with a minimum focusing distance of 1'.
Anti-reflective Ultra Multi-Coating
An optical coating applied to the surface of lenses to reduce lens flare and
ghosting for increased clarity, contrast and color fidielty.
Macro and Bokeh - Separation of Subject & Background
For clear and defined images, superb out-of-focus highlight effects created
from a (9 Blade Diaphragm) circular aperture. This Macro lens can provide
extreme close-up images of small subjects for that perfect detailed shot.
Lens Construction
Rokinon 100mm f/2.8 Macro Lens for Nikon AE incorporates a circular 9-blade
diaphragms for superb out-of-focus highlights (Bokeh), and can stop down to F32
or T32 respectively for maximum depth of field. Additional features include a
non-rotating filter mount, 15 high performance glass elements in 12 groups, ED
and High Refractive Index elements, UMC anti-reflective Ultra Multi-Coating, and
tight color matching to the Rokinon lens system.
