• Dual Mode IS technology provides the equivalent of two full shutter speeds better than conventional lenses. Stabilizer Mode 1 minimizes camera shake. Stabilizer Mode 2 intelligently stabilizes the image in the direction perpendicular to the camera movement, allowing image stabilization while moving. Incredibly sharp pictures are produced at shutter speeds as slow as1/60th second.

• 16-bit Microcomputer commands the lens to instantly shift one of lens groups to compensate for inadvertent camera motion, minimizing the chances of taking blurred images.
