Designed as an evolution of the highly popular AT-LP60X, the AT-LP70X preserves the simple setup and fully automatic operation users love, while delivering noticeable improvements in construction, aesthetics, and audio performance.
A redesigned three-piece chassis helps minimize unwanted mechanical resonance, while the J-shaped tonearm enhances tracking accuracy for smoother playback. The turntable comes fitted with an integrated AT-VM95 moving-magnet cartridge featuring a replaceable and upgradeable VMN95C conical stylus.
The AT-LP70X supports both 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records and includes a built-in, switchable phono preamp. This allows for easy connection to powered speakers, home stereos, or audio systems with or without a dedicated phono input.
Unlike many turntables with fixed cartridges, the AT-VM95 cartridge platform offers exceptional flexibility with multiple stylus upgrade paths. In addition to the included AT-VM95C conical stylus, users can upgrade to the AT-VMN95E elliptical bonded stylus, AT-VMN95EN elliptical nude stylus, AT-VMN95ML microlinear stylus, or AT-VMN95SH Shibata stylus to tailor sound quality to their listening preferences.
