This zoom lens was exclusively designed for use with digital Single-Lens
Reflex (SLR) cameras and has a 6.9:1 zoom ratio. The image circle is designed to
match the size of the image sensor of digital SLR cameras.
From wide angle to telephoto, this new zoom lens can capture a wide range of
subjects. As there is no need to change lenses, there is no risk of missing
those great shots. This lens has a minimum focusing distance of 50cm (19.6in.)
at all focal lengths and a maximum magnification of 1:5.3. A distance scale on
the focus ring makes the lens convenient and easy to use.

Inner Focus
The lens is equipped with an inner focusing system, which prevents the
front element from rotating making it particularly suitable for Petal shaped
`hoods and a circular polarizing filters.
Zoom Lock
The lens is also equipped with a zoom lock that eliminates 'zoom creep' during
transit.
