By eliminating the need to manually feed papers, you can work on other tasks while the shredder shreds for you. The 175X model can automatically shred as many as 175 sheets, including those fastened with paper clips or staples. Simply insert a stack of 175 letter size sheets into the autofeed tray, shut the lid, and you're done. For shredding glossy and folded sheets a manual shredding slot is also included, which shreds up to 7 sheets at once. To shred a credit card, manually place it between the rollers in the autofeed chamber and shut the lid. DVDs and CDs can be shredded through a separate slot that is also inside the autofeed chamber. The 175X is a super cross-cut shredder, delivering Level P-4 security that is suitable for everyday shredding. One sheet of paper is shredded into approximately 400 pieces and caught in a 9-gallon waste bin. Comprehensively shred media and papers. Powerful cutters allow you to automatically shred documents without removing paper clips or staples. DVDs/CDs are shred through a separate slot. Credit cards must be manually placed between rollers.

Self-cleaning Cutters
Cutters work to automatically remove any small pieces of paper that are stuck, which prevents build-up and helps ensure jam free performance.

Bin Full Indicator
A lighted icon turns on when the waste bin is full and needs to be emptied.

Recyclable Paper Bag Compatible
The shredder bin can be lined with custom sized recyclable paper bags, made from recycled paper. (Sold separately)

Power Save
Shredder shuts down automatically when not in use for 2 minutes or more to conserve energy. Machine automatically wakes up when paper is inserted.
