NEXUS Phantom automatically charges from a fresh battery and provides up to 15 minutes of operating time to ensure a battery change can be made without powering down the camera. A valuable feature of the NEXUS Phantom is to automatically compensate for the high transient current of on camera lighting for the NEXUS 50 battery. These transients severely limit the capabilities of lesser lithium ion batteries rendering them useless with lighting loads greater than 30 watts.
